Don’t even waste your time if you are Celiac. I’m glad I asked a few questions before ordering. Nothing on the menu was safe or remotely gluten free. We left and then went to Camille’s for sushi. It was fabulous! Just go to Camille’s.

There is nothing marked on the menu GF at all. They even said their rice has gluten in it. You are expected to ask the staff about any idea you are interested in if they can adjust it to make it gluten free for you. 😩

Expensive and the food just wasn’t very good. Even my family that eats gluten didn’t care for their food. Not worth the stop.

My waiter was very knowledgeable about gluten and made sure the kitchen staff was aware of my allergy. I have the salmon sushi rolls with soy paper and had no issues.

Our menu clearly had gf options for our meals as a cute little “gfo” logo on the menu. Our waiter had no idea how they make a sushi roll gluten free and even sniped a remark about weight loss when I ordered my gfo sushi. Sushi arrived with Imitation crab and tempura fried shrimp. Waiter said he puts in the order and the chefs know what to do to make it gf. I spoke with the sushi chef and he said that my roll was not gluten free and he’d speak with our waiter.

After reading the great reviews about Jackacuda's I decided to give it a try during a recent trip to Destin. The restaurant was going through a lot of changes and the menu was one of them. They no longer have a menu that denotes the gluten-free items and they no longer have the flourless cake. The menu had an interesting mix of burger, seafood, and sushi. I ordered sushi and our server had the chef double check that everything including the soy sauce was gluten free. The sushi was so so. Our server was great and very friendly although not entirely well-versed on the gluten free options and modifications.

This restaurant was so good! The manager and our server Phillip were amazing and very accommodating when it came to me being Celiac. They assured that everything I ordered was indeed gluten free and the seafood tacos where amazing! They have many different options on the menu that are already gluten free or can be modified to be Gluten free. They also have a really great flourless chocolate cake!

We stayed nearby and enjoyed our first meal at Jackacuda's so much that we went again! The staff was friendly and took great care of us. I have to eat gluten free and they went out of their way to make sure what I ordered was safe (both food and drink). I enjoyed sushi, tacos, oysters, the grouper and the dessert! They were all really yummy!

Server wasn't very helpful in assuring us in menu options that were gluten free. The flourless chocolate cake is the reason we came, however it is mediocre at best. The two people at our table who were not gluten free got their food 20 minutes before the other people in our party who ordered gluten free options. I would recommend talking to the chef or a manager to ensure a celiac safe experience.

Amazing unique food and cocktails! One of the owners has a peanut allergy so he is very well versed on the do's and don'ts. LOVE the atmosphere, food and view of boats coming in and out of the harbor !

Amazing is a strong word for food service, but an appropriate comment for tonight's meal. My wife had the grilled pork chop with an apple fig jam on their seasoned mashed potatoes with green beans. The pork chop was perfectly grilled and the apple fig jam was an excellent compliment to the smokiness of the pork chop.

I had the Captain's choice. It was pampano (forgive my spelling) grilled and smothered in a sweet butter corn sauce. It was also on a bed of seasoned mashed potatoes. The potatoes had just enough flavor to add to the dish without overpowering. The fish had a crispy texture, not over cooked, but crisp on the outside with sweet tender texture inside. Slightly smoky and buttery as well.

There was so much more I could compliment, but I'm on my phone.

The waitress handled the gf requests and answered our questions well. The manager was very familiar with cross contamination controls and the menu is well marked for GF options.

The price was a bit higher than our normal fare, but expected and well worth it.

Great atmosphere, great food, food was delicious. A bit pricey though but gluten free sushi was out of this world and they had gluten free soy sauce. I did not get glutented and I felt great after leaving there. Definitely going back!
