They did accidentally give me a non gluten free sandwich that I figured out and sent back. Then they made me a really great gluten free sandwich. Was pretty impressed by the taste of the sandwich for sure. Definitely disappointed that they accidentally sent out a non GF sandwich in the beginning.

The berry turkey sandwich was delish. They took precautions and made in a safe area. The chips are homemade and safe as well! So good!

I am celiac, although I don’t have typical GI reactions. I live in Atlanta, but this is one of my favorite places to visit in Rome. The El Fuego is so yummy!! Great small business that I hope can survive the COVID-19 impact on restaurants. They are offering cautious, careful curbside pick up as of last week. Call ahead; menu and hours subject to change.

The staff was knowledgeable and they used a separate space to make my sandwich. The chips are delicious and safe as well! Love the funky vibe and interesting pairings on the menu. We loved the whole experience!

It's our first time here as we are just passing through. This is a funky, unique place. the lady that prepares the food came out and explained the menu and after I told her GF bread she went over the items on the menu that are GF (GF bread, condiments, chips (come from a dedicated GF facility), and the potato salad). She was so nice and helpful. I'm not celiac so I dont have to worry about CC but she seemed to have a great understanding about taking the necessary precautions if you cant handle CC. I will update after I have tasted the food!
