I told the server more twice that I needed the gluten free option due to coeliac disease and I asked again when the food was served to triple check if it was in fact gluten free. They said yes so I trusted it at that point. After taking a bite I then noticed barley grains in the black pudding. Moments later I was in the bathroom.
The manager was very apologetic and I didn’t have to pay. He gave me water and a juice and was very sympathetic and mentioned his sister was also coeliac and I heard him have a stern chat to the server and kitchen staff as it wasn’t the first time this had happened to a customer.
I think I would trust this place again due to the managers knowledge of coeliac and his discipline towards staff but I would check the food before eating.

Really good gluten free crêpes and good service. I did not ask about or look out for cross contamination though as that is not too important to me

I was excited to try this place when I saw it had gluten free options. I asked for a gf toasted sandwich on my first visit recently and even repeated my request at the till in case the server didn't catch it. When I opened up the box when I got to work I realised this sandwich did not look gluten free at all. It was a large white bread toastie just like normal bread. Upon taking a bite I quickly realised it sure didn't taste like one either. I have been coeliac a long time and know the difference straight away..I didn't go back as I thought it would be a waste of time. As the day went on, I started to become ill, bloated and tired. The next day I was laid up sick from the exposure. I was very disappointed. The service was good and friendly though and they do have a nice range of food and smoothies available. I am not completely put off, as next time I will make sure to check the food to make sure its 100 pc gluten free.

Don't go here if you're coeliac. My wife and her celiac mother went in on this recommendation and had a horrible experience. The kitchens are not prepared as they have no separate space for food prep. No separate toaster for bread. They use the same griller for the regular bread as the gluten free bread, surfaces are just wiped down. Even being a celiac customer seems to be a big issue to them. They just get annoyed with you if you don't have a normal diet.

Absolutely fantastic gluten-free crepes! They are so delicious. The menu clearly lists what is available gluten-free and seriously, get the crepes! I got the Mixed Berries & Cream, with an amazing cappuccino. Fantastic experience!
