I ordered a burger with a gluten free Hilltop bun, it was so delicious. I ordered sweet potato French fries and they had sugar on them that made them taste more like desert, though they were good I would have like them better without as much sugar. The sprite out of fountain was really good, sometimes restaurants don’t have great soda. It wasn’t crowded it was a Wednesday night.

I had the burger with a fried egg on it,and french fries! They have a dedicated area on their kitchen and a dedicated fryer. They use different plates for food from the gf kitchen to prevent mix ups, and it was delicious.

I ordered off of the gluten free menu, the staff seemed very knowledgeable but when the food came out I started to eat it only to then remember that it should have been on a round plate. I understand that some of this is my own fault as I didn’t remember about the plate thing until too late but the waiter and I discussed my gluten issues in detail and he still served me the wrong thing.

I see a previous reviewer noted that there is cross contamination, but that wasn't our experience or what we were told. We were assured by our wonderful server Sharon that there is separate kitchen space and a separate fryer. Though there aren't a ton of GF choices, there is enough to choose from and have a decent meal. We had the Hall of Famer burger which was $5 more than the regular burger, but worth it. I ate lots of fries and didn't get sick. The house salad was a good size and everything was fresh. Sharon was attentive, sensitive to my needs, and very pleasant. Great location right on the water. A good choice if you're in the area!

If you are looking for a family friendly place that has great food and takes the meaning of Gluten Free very seriously...then you have found the right place! As soon as we told our waiter (who was top notch) that our son had celiac, he assured us of many levels of precautions they take to eliminate cross contamination. Separate fryer, separate prep area, and any gluten free dish is marked by a round plate vs square to flag so that it is not mingled with the rest of the gluten containing dishes. Honestly, for the portions you get, the price is actually pretty fair. As a family who is used to spending more for a GF meal or groceries for that matter, it was really affordable! Great job to whoever trained this restaurant!

Very impressed with their protocols. They have two separate kitchens. One is completely gluten free and only has circular plates. The normal kitchen has square plates so it's pretty easy to tell if you got the gluten free food. The "tot"chos were great and I didn't get sick. Would eat here again.

Superb experience. Waiter was knowledgeable and made great recommendations. My favorite was the Totchos appetizer. There aren't many places at which we can eat tater tots! We sat where we could see the river, and if it weren't raining, would have loved to eat out on their large patio. Nice atmosphere, neat area. I felt safe eating there, and as we Celiac's know, that's such a huge part of our dining out experience!

Celiac and food allergy friendly! Dedicated GF fryer. Asked to speak with manager upon arrival about special needs (6 y/o is celiac, nut allergy--including shared manufacturing lines), egg and soy protein allergic). Exec Chef Luna came to the table to discuss options. Steak, chicken, burger, and fries/tater tots among a few of the options. Our daughter wanted burger so chef made it herself...used our homemade bun (they have GF but we needed egg free too) and even heated it and served it like everyone else. One of the few places she could enjoy fries/tots! She couldn't have been happier! Chef returned to table afterwards to see how everything was and we were thrilled! Everyone's meal was delicious! Only wish we had known if the chocolate milk were safe. They brought the chocolate flavoring to the table for us to read but it didn't show a may contain label, couldn't find it out from website, and it was a weekend so I couldn't reach anyone! Will know by the next time we visit. Thank you everyone at Grille 36!! Can't wait to return!

Wow, a separate kitchen where only the chef is allowed to prepare food, separate plates to ensure that it came from the right kitchen AND lots of choices for our celiac kid to choose from including fries from a separate fryer. As soon as we requested a GF menu, they had a manager bring it over and explain the process.

A manager informed me that they have a separate food prep area which includes a different fryer from the rest of the kitchen for GF and other food allergy needs. They only serve their allergy specific meals on round plates and they tell you that if you are given any other shape plate, to refuse it.

This is a great restaurant. The waitstaff is totally comfortable with GF patrons. The front desk automatically dispatches a manager to the table that requests a GF menu. The only issue we encountered was that we had a "mixed" party of 2 GF people and 2 wheat- eaters. We ended up with 3 GF burgers, but no big deal. A tad pricey but a nice experience and fun atmosphere.

I'm a celiac and am more than excited to eat at Bettis again. The manager comes to the table when you ask for a gf menu and explains that they have one chef preparing your meal in a separate section of the kitchen. It's so nice to have gf French fries, burgers, and wings. They also have cider on tap. Can't wait to come back!!!

5 Stars.

Very friendly staff- but knowledgable and

diligent about guiding me through the menu.

I had the GF Salmon that was smothered in grilled veggies and a slightly spicy marinara sauce. It was outstanding.

If you're looking for a casual, family friendly, sports bar with upscale food but reasonable prices, then go here.

And ask for TOI!
