Jerry and The Mermaid

Years ago I was glutened when Jerry Jr was not in the kitchen so I’m always on edge. I can say unequivocally when Jerry Jr is on site, safety is paramount and taken seriously. There are plenty of options, protocols are in place, the food is delicious. Get the artichokes!!!!!!

Bonus: they are dog friendly!!!!!!!!!

Many dishes can be made gluten free and are labeled in the menu. The Greek salad and steamed clams were so tasty! The sesame tuna was good too just remind them about the sauce needing to be GF also. My kids had GF pasta. Omg they have a GF hot brownie with vanilla ice cream…So good!

Lots of gluten free options-Gluten free clams casino. The shrimp scampi is divine. The sauce is made w compound butter & paprika. The chef was kind & came out to check how our meals.

We went there with our 6 year old celiac daughter. The owner seemed to understand celiac and gave us a few options. He offered grilled chicken strips and veggies. My kids love lobster so they got a a steamed lobster and baked potato and steak veggies. He told us to avoid broiling the lobster as they sometimes put breadcrumbs on the shell. Overall it was a good experience.
