Very friendly staff. I have to eat gluten free food and they did not know what that meant. I was able to find out that both chile sauces have flour in them, as does the ground beef inside the tacos (?). I ended up with a giant baked potato covered in sour cream guacamole and cheese. It was fine. I also had a chile relleno, which they fix without flour. It was basically a thin, fried omelet with green chile and cheese inside. I do have celiac, but I think that there is probably not one place to eat in Gallup that is "celiac friendly". Cross-contamination is always going to be a risk. I ate here and did not have a reaction, although there's probably a very good chance my relleno was fried on a grill with gluten. If you're super sensitive, I honestly think you have to bring your own food when your visit Gallup (or go shopping at Albertsons grocery store which has a few things). There was a steady stream of people, mostly very young children, offering to sell us jewelry. I know this is commonly done around Gallup, but it's very annoying and I felt bad for the poor kids. I wish restaurants would stop this practice.
