Seems safe to eat there but good luck. They have gluten free bread about 20% of the time we try to eat there. I advise calling ahead. Last time we even called ahead and they had the bread but were somehow out of cheesesteaks? Management here is absolutely terrible.
Staff is knowledgeable and have posted specific procedures for staff to follow when someone is ordering gluten free. (Glove change, prepping surface, etc). Was in Heaven when I finally was able to indulge in a Philly cheesesteak again with their gluten free bread
The manager was very accommodating and cleaned the grill before preparing my cheesesteak. The Udi’s sub roll was delicious! Of course there is always the risk of accidental cross contamination, but I did not have a reaction.
The sandwich’s were very good ! The staff was knowledgeable and changed washed their hands and changed gloves while preparing my sandwich . They had a separate machine for cutting the meats . The food was great and I didn’t get sick . Would return here again!

I was in town for work and everyone ordered together. I called ahead and stressed that I needed gluten free and dairy free. I asked them to add bacon. My sandwich was delivered with cheese melted all over the contents. No bacon. I didn’t have lunch.

My experience at Jersey Mike’s was good I have celiacs and I have eaten at several even in California never had a reaction and I do have to carry a epi pen because my reaction is swelling of eyes, mouth and throat.
Love the separate prep area.
