Most Jersey Mike's locations do a great job of protecting against cross contamination, and my experience started out fine here. However the toppings guy was busy chatting up the girl behind me in line and didn't tell the cutting girl to use the gluten free knife. Instead, she used a dirty knife, and they had to remake the entire sandwich.

My son has celiac so we ordered sub in a tub and indicated he has a gluten allergy. The employee changed gloves and used a seperate prep area, however, she pulled from the same toppings bin as her fellow employees who were handling bread. I had to cancel the order so I do not know if it would have made him I'll. It wasn't worth chancing.

Separate area to make gluten free sandwich with gluten free Udis bread. They change gloves but all this doesn't matter if the sandwich meat they freshly slice is contaminated with bread crumbs they slice to order from previous sandwich. I was so hopeful but I got sick an hour later. Don't eat here If you have Celiac.

Had their gluten free sandwich and it was prepared properly and safely! No Reaction.

Go to safe spot for a quick lunch. Always safe, dedicated portion of the counter for GF. And staff takes precautions well.

The people working took my allergy very seriously. She thoroughly cleaned the slicer and counters. Everyone on the line changed their gloves. There is a specific color knife for the gluten free bread which was in its own individual wrapper.

So awesome! I came in during the lunch rush, but they did not cut any corners. Super careful about preventing cross contamination and they have really great options!

I usually order through the app and pick it up so I can’t speak with full confidence on cross contamination, but the gluten free bread is really good. Best place to get a gluten free sandwich around the area. I don’t think I’ve ever felt sick from it.
