When traveling, I look for JM’s. This location had an additional slicer and cooler where they made my sandwich. Then they brought it back up front to get toppings.
Yes
We ate a Jersey Mike’s recently while on a road trip in Iowa and they were awesome (cleaned the slicer, changed gloves, prepared in a separate area, etc). I was very excited because I knew there was a Jersey Mike’s near my house that I had just never tried and now I would have a new option for a quick meal while out and about. Went into this one in Bellevue and were told “we offer the gluten free bun but we aren’t gluten free because it’s on the slicer and made in the same area, so it’s probably only about 95% gluten free”. NO attempt at accommodation, so definitely NOT SAFE for Celiac. So disappointed.
No
The sandwich’s were very good ! The staff was knowledgeable and changed washed their hands and changed gloves while preparing my sandwich . They had a separate machine for cutting the meats . The food was great and I didn’t get sick . Would return here again!

I was in town for work and everyone ordered together. I called ahead and stressed that I needed gluten free and dairy free. I asked them to add bacon. My sandwich was delivered with cheese melted all over the contents. No bacon. I didn’t have lunch.
— Not at all
My experience at Jersey Mike’s was good I have celiacs and I have eaten at several even in California never had a reaction and I do have to carry a epi pen because my reaction is swelling of eyes, mouth and throat.
Love the separate prep area.
