The team here is very cautious and do a great job. My celiac middle schooler often eats her before her sports.

They always ask if the gluten free is for an allergy. They make efforts to avoid cross contamination, such as using a different knife as well as preventing contact with any surfaces. With it not being a dedicated GF facility there is still always the possibility of cross contamination. I have eaten here 4 times now and haven’t been glutened.
They use Udi’s and as with any GF bun it falls apart as soon as it is wet, so if you get anything “Mike’s way” or a delicious Philly (the chipotle one is the best), I’d recommend dine-in if possible.

Ordered through doordash, they use Udi’s. First sub sandwich I’ve had in 5 years and I’m in love

They were very busy today when we stopped in but they did a great job of making sure everything was celiac safe! Great job thank you!
Yes
Very accomadating. I asked for my sub as gluten free as possible and they immediately changed their gloves and grabbed the gluten free bread. Very impressed
The gf sub bread is YUM and I’ve had no reactions as they are very careful- however it’s just one of those places you have to be careful because of all the bread in the area
Went during lunch rush with my celiac girl friend. When asked for the gluten free bread, everyone who will be in contact with your food changes gloves and wipe down/change the cutting equipment. The individual in charge of slicing will grab new meats/cheese to slice if asked and the individual in charge of the topping will grab from the back of the bin. The prep table is not wiped down though but the sandwich is made on a paper wrapper. She did not get sick but cleanliness could be improve. Taste wise, the sandwich was delicious and one of the best gluten free sandwich you can get here.
I was in town for work and everyone ordered together. I called ahead and stressed that I needed gluten free and dairy free. I asked them to add bacon. My sandwich was delivered with cheese melted all over the contents. No bacon. I didn’t have lunch.

My experience at Jersey Mike’s was good I have celiacs and I have eaten at several even in California never had a reaction and I do have to carry a epi pen because my reaction is swelling of eyes, mouth and throat.
Love the separate prep area.

Jersey Mike’s is the only sub chain I trust to eat food from. They clean all equipment, change gloves, and get toppings from the back for my sandwich on gluten free udis sub. They have gluten free packaged snickerdoodles for dessert.
