The GF rolls are so good. They wipe down everything and ask if it’s an allergy or preference. Best hoagies I’ve had in years.
Have been GF for about 5 months now and have been seriously missing hoagies (among other things). Stopped in tonight and asked about the GF options and the employee stated everything on the menu was an option provided we used the right roll (which was still in a sealed bag. I didn’t feel too bad since it was slow, hate asking for special treatment. He made the 2 regulars we ordered, changed gloves, wiped entire prep area including the slicer, changed gloves again and proceeded to make my sandwich, while making sure nothing or no one else entered the prep area until he was done with my sandwich. They were very pleasant and accommodating.
Went in on Sunday night and ask for gluten free and they were great and the sandwich was excellent. They immediately cleaned the area and then changed gloves again and made my sandwich they had a knife that they used to cut the sandwich. They did everything to prevent cross contamination. Will definitely go back!!! This was in Quakertown,PA

Wow! I just ordered two gluten-free subs from Jersey Mike’s. I love that they wipe down the machine, they had a designated knife to cut gluten free bread, and they even switch their gloves. They placed wax paper down on their work area so my sub wouldn’t be cross contaminated. I will definitely go back.

That staff was amazing. They wiped down all the prep areas, used untainted utensils, changed their gloves every time they came in contact with anything gluten contaminated, and were really friendly about it all. They use Udi’s bread for their gluten-free options. The subs were delicious.

Crossroads Jersey Mike’s did a great job. We shared that we had a gluten allergy. They asked another customer who requested a GF sandwich if it was a preference or allergy, which gave me increased comfort. The employee put on clean gloves, made our sandwich separately on the back counter with completely separate ingredients from the rest of the shop. Overall thrilled to find a sub shop again.

I explained that I needed gloves changed, a clean surface, and new ingredients and they made my sandwich out of stuff they “haven’t used too much today.” I didn’t trust my sandwich so I gave it to someone else to eat. If you’re sensitive to cross contamination like I am, I wouldn’t recommend this particular Jersey Mike’s.

They no longer have a separate station for gluten allergies, they use it for takeout orders. They just wipe down the deli slicer and wipe the counters and change gloves but they offer the same toppings that the gluten gloves were already in… they don’t really understand cross contact here.

We went to a different location on vacation and they had wonderful precautions and care…. This one not so much :( They did wipe down and change gloves, but used the same cutter and surfaces as they do with the normal sandwiches. Sat the gluten free one right next to the regular ones as the worker beside him slung all the toppings and bread around. Got an attitude when I asked them to stop what they were doing and wrap the gluten free one first!
