They didn’t know what gluten was - let alone cross contamination. The place looked clean and I’m sure their subs are great for most people but I wasn’t comfortable ordering.
They are very careful, change out gloves, clean deli slicer and use new utensils for GF eaters. The bread comes packaged separately so you know it’s safe. And they use fresh toppings that haven’t been cross contaminated. It takes a little longer but the peace of mind is worth it. Did not get sick, will be back!

Partnered with Udi’s to offer gluten free subs. They are careful about cross contamination, but obviously have to post a disclaimer since they are not an exclusively gluten free establishment. The bread is good and the sandwich is a decent size! Posted this after my 3rd visit, and will continue to go back!
The sandwich’s were very good ! The staff was knowledgeable and changed washed their hands and changed gloves while preparing my sandwich . They had a separate machine for cutting the meats . The food was great and I didn’t get sick . Would return here again!

I was in town for work and everyone ordered together. I called ahead and stressed that I needed gluten free and dairy free. I asked them to add bacon. My sandwich was delivered with cheese melted all over the contents. No bacon. I didn’t have lunch.
— Not at all
My experience at Jersey Mike’s was good I have celiacs and I have eaten at several even in California never had a reaction and I do have to carry a epi pen because my reaction is swelling of eyes, mouth and throat.
Love the separate prep area.
