All my sister and I have wanted for years is a wawa hoagie! Finally we found Jersey mikes. Obviously it doesn’t taste 100% like normal bread, but our gf hoagie was still pretty good! The 4 stars is because my sister ordered it so I can’t comment on the precautions taken. I can say that neither of us got sick, but we may be silent celiacs

My family member with celiac wanted to try this location during our stay. The manager prepped the sandwich using a different meat slicer than the one that had been used and prepped the sandwich on the counter near that slicer away from where the gluten sandwiches were prepped. The bread is individually wrapped and the GF knife stored separately. Family member is sensitive to cc and did not react. Also enjoyed the sandwich.

I was in town for work and everyone ordered together. I called ahead and stressed that I needed gluten free and dairy free. I asked them to add bacon. My sandwich was delivered with cheese melted all over the contents. No bacon. I didn’t have lunch.
— Not at all
My experience at Jersey Mike’s was good I have celiacs and I have eaten at several even in California never had a reaction and I do have to carry a epi pen because my reaction is swelling of eyes, mouth and throat.
Love the separate prep area.

Jersey Mike’s is the only sub chain I trust to eat food from. They clean all equipment, change gloves, and get toppings from the back for my sandwich on gluten free udis sub. They have gluten free packaged snickerdoodles for dessert.
