Update: Only cold sandwiches are safe for celiacs / allergy. I was told that the grill is used to heat gluten sand which bread all day, and the “cleaning” is just scraping it down and using the same surface for GF bread!!! Very sad and disappointed that I was not told this in the beginning even though I have clearly stated it’s an allergy.

I eat here often and am super grateful there’s a gluten free sandwich area around Naperville. They have Udis GF sub buns which are pretty good! However when you order please make sure to say you have a gluten allergy / celiacs as they will prepare your sandwich safely. I made the mistake of forgetting to say allergy and they had to remake my sandwich. Still yummy tho!

Soft and fresh gf bun with thinly sliced meats.

Separate area & slicer for GF orders. They use Udi’s GF bread which I like, but many think is too dry. Will be coming back here bc I love a good sandwich! Plus they have Udi’s cookies near the checkout.

Server used new gloves and prepared the sandwich in a separate area. They seemed very conscientious of cross contamination. Very friendly staff!

So awesome! I came in during the lunch rush, but they did not cut any corners. Super careful about preventing cross contamination and they have really great options!

I usually order through the app and pick it up so I can’t speak with full confidence on cross contamination, but the gluten free bread is really good. Best place to get a gluten free sandwich around the area. I don’t think I’ve ever felt sick from it.

I was IMPRESSED when I went in! They wiped the meat cutting machine down with soap & water, wiped all of the counters off, used a new, clean, & lined tray. I’ve been there twice & didn’t get sick either time!

Great people, careful with cross contamination every time I’ve been there so far. They only had 1 half of a GF bread left when I ordered a giant and they put the other half in a bowl for me and offered a free sandwich card for the trouble. Highly recommend every Jersey Mike’s for celiac-friendly sandwiches and this one was no exception.

I frequently get subs from this location and I have never had any issues. Gluten free bread is available as an option for each sandwich. Before preparation, the employees ask if it’s a preference or an allergy, and are extra careful not to cross contaminate if it’s an allergy (for me it’s an allergy). Everything is delicious! My favorite sandwich is the Classic Italian
