I agree with C.L. certain workers understands how to separate from food and bread. My daughter loves going there. Worker has to change gloves and we have to watch everything they do. We've tested food with Nima and twice came out gluten free. As a mom, i get nervous but my daughter hasn't had any reactions.
Just be sure to mention it’s for Celiac sufferer so they change their gloves. I haven’t gotten sick here but I’m always careful to watch them prepare and make sure they don’t use same surface as other bread ( they use a paper wrap on top of counter surface).
I was in town for work and everyone ordered together. I called ahead and stressed that I needed gluten free and dairy free. I asked them to add bacon. My sandwich was delivered with cheese melted all over the contents. No bacon. I didn’t have lunch.

My experience at Jersey Mike’s was good I have celiacs and I have eaten at several even in California never had a reaction and I do have to carry a epi pen because my reaction is swelling of eyes, mouth and throat.
Love the separate prep area.

Jersey Mike’s is the only sub chain I trust to eat food from. They clean all equipment, change gloves, and get toppings from the back for my sandwich on gluten free udis sub. They have gluten free packaged snickerdoodles for dessert.
