I asked for a gluten free sandwich, and they spent the next 2 minutes cleaning up the cutting area, bringing out a dedicated knife and cutting board, changing gloves, etc. The store clearly has a training protocol for this. That I didn't even need to ask was a huge relief.
Yes
they completely clean everything. They do a great job of eliminating cross-contamination. I talk to someone in line that has celiacs, she has eaten here several times and has had no reaction. the bread tastes good as well. Obviously the cross-contamination will not be completely eliminated but I was impressed by what they did.
Yes
I was in town for work and everyone ordered together. I called ahead and stressed that I needed gluten free and dairy free. I asked them to add bacon. My sandwich was delivered with cheese melted all over the contents. No bacon. I didn’t have lunch.

My experience at Jersey Mike’s was good I have celiacs and I have eaten at several even in California never had a reaction and I do have to carry a epi pen because my reaction is swelling of eyes, mouth and throat.
Love the separate prep area.

Jersey Mike’s is the only sub chain I trust to eat food from. They clean all equipment, change gloves, and get toppings from the back for my sandwich on gluten free udis sub. They have gluten free packaged snickerdoodles for dessert.
