Absolutely Horrible. The store has a sign on the door that specifically claims “gluten-free” as an option. Ate part of a gluten free sub and only made it half way before the gluten, caused my throat to close. The gluten from the so called gluten free sun roll. Couldn’t taste it much since my tongue was so white and swollen and hurting. I also got burns on both hands from touching the allegedly gluten free bun/roll. I have such a severe allergy to wheat/gluten that it has evolved to a touch allergy. I have been I’ll last 9 days since it happened. Never, EVER, again.

Not a great place if you have concerns about cross contamination. But if you can take the risk; it’s definitely a good option. Gluten-free bread for subs, they also offer “subs in a tub” for no bread options. They often have a gluten-free cookie option, if that’s your thing!

Jersey Mikes has packaged GF hoagie rolls for a slight up charge. At the Rowlett location they prepare the sandwich and meats on a separate clean counter in the back to prevent cross contamination with the other breads. We regularly order Jersey Mikes on DoorDash or use the Jersey Mikes app and have had an excellent experience every time.

They can make almost any sandwich gluten free. The bread is really good!
