3/7/24. I ordered a gluten free sandwich sandwich and an employee stopped the manager and told her she needed to get the bottle of mayonnaise and not use the spatula in the mayonnaise which was used on traditional bread. The manager went and got a different spatula but still used the mayonnaise that had been used repeatedly to prepare sandwiches with traditional bread. I attempted to explain to the manager why that was still a problem and that in that location and in all others I have ordered from there has been a bottle of mayonnaise set aside for gluten free orders. She stated that she went and got me a new spatula what more did I need. The manager then informed me that she will continue to use cross contamination practices to prepare sandwiches and if I didn’t like it then I could go somewhere else. I recommend that anyone who eats gluten free due to celiac take this Jersey Mike manager’s advice and do not eat at this location.

Jersey Mike’s is fantastic if you are GF. They change gloves and prep your food in a separate area to avoid cross-contamination. Just let them know you it is an allergy and they will take care of you.

I was in town for work and everyone ordered together. I called ahead and stressed that I needed gluten free and dairy free. I asked them to add bacon. My sandwich was delivered with cheese melted all over the contents. No bacon. I didn’t have lunch.

My experience at Jersey Mike’s was good I have celiacs and I have eaten at several even in California never had a reaction and I do have to carry a epi pen because my reaction is swelling of eyes, mouth and throat.
Love the separate prep area.

Jersey Mike’s is the only sub chain I trust to eat food from. They clean all equipment, change gloves, and get toppings from the back for my sandwich on gluten free udis sub. They have gluten free packaged snickerdoodles for dessert.
