The staff at this location was spot on! We were asked if our GF request was preference or allergen, in order to know whether they needed to fully reset *everything*. That was nice to know that if you say allergen, they take it very seriously. It's still a sandwich shop at the end of the day, where there is a lot of gluten bread floating around. I'd say that the staff and company definitely care about doing it right, but there's always a chance of CC when eating out. The Udi's GF bread they offer is quite tasty and doesn't have an overly grainy/dry texture like many GF breads can. They fresh slice their meats and use very fresh veggies. The kind and patient staff is the best part!
I was in town for work and everyone ordered together. I called ahead and stressed that I needed gluten free and dairy free. I asked them to add bacon. My sandwich was delivered with cheese melted all over the contents. No bacon. I didn’t have lunch.

My experience at Jersey Mike’s was good I have celiacs and I have eaten at several even in California never had a reaction and I do have to carry a epi pen because my reaction is swelling of eyes, mouth and throat.
Love the separate prep area.

Jersey Mike’s is the only sub chain I trust to eat food from. They clean all equipment, change gloves, and get toppings from the back for my sandwich on gluten free udis sub. They have gluten free packaged snickerdoodles for dessert.
