I told them I have Celiac and they were very nice, explained about the gf bread, the prep area, and changed gloves. Good sandwiches!

I called ahead of time to ask them what their procedure was for their gluten-free sandwiches they asked if it was for an allergy or not and I told them it was for celiac they were happy to answer any questions I had. when we got to the shop the manager personally made her sandwich had everybody else step back from the line and did not allow any other sandwiches to be made until my daughter's was wrapped and bagged. they cut her fresh tomato and they use meat and cheese that had not been previously on the slicer. all the condiments for the gluten-free sandwiches are in squeeze bottles and they have separate knives they use only for the gluten free. all in all we had a very good experience
Yes
Last time I was there, they touched the condiments and then my sandwich with the same gloves. The condiments have been touched by others with bread on their gloves.
I got sick afterwards. First place that’s JM that’s not caring well for celiac. They need to clean the whole space like other places, not just try a separate counter. It used to be a safe place to eat.

We eat at Jersey Mike’s often. When you order gluten free they ask whether it is a preference or an allergy. Allergy means they prepare your food in the back, away from contamination. There is a large variety of hot and cold sandwiches available, and they also have bowls, with everything but bread.

They had a big order, and made sure to clean then took mine to the back to make. ❤

Jersey Mike's hill road has taken great care to make gluten free subs for me. I have not gotten sick yet from there!! That said, I go there either right when they open or between lunch and dinner rush. That way it's easier for them to clean equipment before making my sub.

Good sandwiches and generally fast. GF bread is ok, I think Udi's. If you tell them GF is medical, they prep in a separate station and handle with fresh gloves.
