The staff was very understanding when I told them I had celiac. They changed their gloves and wiped everything down including the meat slicer and changing out the lettuce and using a different mayonnaise. They kept my bread on paper to make sure it didn’t get cross contaminated and made sure one person prepared my whole sandwich. They did this all during a rush and made sure my sandwich was safe for me to eat. As a person newly diagnosed with celiac I really appreciated coming here and them being so patient and understanding.
Hit or miss on CC. They clean the slicer when you ask for GF. They use a separate knife and cutting board for the GF bread. But sometimes will use the same toppings from the regular subs so use their hands for lettuce from the same tub that others used while making regular subs.
Went twice, small gluten reaction the second time from CC.
Food was delicious.
I got a bowl/salad. The workers were very diligent to clean the area when I mentioned a gluten allergy. I asked for them to do the toppings (lettuce, etc.) in the back and they were willing. It was a bit stressful because it really paused the whole long line but I didn’t get sick so that’s a win!
