It's a nice Saturday morning, they're not even busy. I'm a party of one. There's a counter and at least 15 open tables but a sign says host staff will seat me, so I wait. The only thing the host would offer was the bathroom table so I got takeout instead and ate it in my car in their parking lot. The food was good, I went back inside to request something for the potatoes and was given a good aioli. Ate my $21 box of biscuits and gravy in my car in their parking lot and I will only be back if I'm dying of starvation in this part of town. Rude. It was decent but not worth the drive, the snub, and eating it in my car. Service counts!!

We drove 40 minutes to eat here and they were closed an hour and a half earlier than posted on their website. I am very disappointed.

Amazing food! I had the chorizo hash bowl and it was incredible. The only downside was that I called ahead of time to make sure they had corn free options (I have a corn intolerance). And I was told that everything was corn free except the tacos and donuts. I went in and found out that waffles and burritos were made with cornstarch. I was definitely disappointed about that but I'm glad I double checked. Also I checked the desert case and later found out it all contained corn.

This is place is fantastic. Lots of choices for a dedicated gluten-free restaurant. Lots of choices for any restaurant really. Get here early though as it can get busy on the weekend.

Everything is phenomenal. Occasionally the hostess has no clue how to clean the tables off and get the line outside moving along and the wait will exceed 25 min. Call ahead and ask them how long the wait time is so you’re prepared. They sometimes run out of things that are popular, don’t be afraid to try something new. My family LOVES this place, can we please get one in the west valley???

Hot Nashville-style crispy chicken sandwich was very tasty (got it between a warm waffle bun, it was a bit soft for my liking though not soggy which was a plus since it made it easier to eat all components together with your hands as a sandwich should be). Definitely worth a visit & try. Also, had the “tempura” cauliflower appetizer, coating was good but lacked flavor & a bit bland. My non-GF friend enjoyed her peach scone though my blackberry scone was too mushy. Their peanut butter cookie was fantastic (chewy, sweet, salty & PB heaven)! I do want to try other menu items. Prices were as expected as far GF dedicated establishments go. Super easy to find, ample parking & overall service was very good. They ran out of some baked items but the kitchen & staff were prompt to alert you as well as make a fresh batch which was great!

Customer service was absolutely terrible and the oil they were frying with was burned. The food and the customer service is so much better at Intentional Foods (highly recommend!). Our waitress was so busy flirting with the male waiter and talking to their table of friends that came in that our table was completely neglected. Our waitress spoke maybe 20 words to us the whole time we were there - we had to ask for water refills and the check because she never acknowledged our table except for when we waved her down. It took over an hour to get our food, and the appetizers showed up AFTER our entrees. Everyone else was receiving appetizers before their food, yet the wait staff pretended to be confused when we asked what happened to our appetizers. The table of the servers' friends behind us ordered after we did and received MULTIPLE, continuous orders of various appetizers and entrees for a whole hour before any of our food showed up (including multiple rounds of the food that we had ordered prior to the servers' friends ordering anything). We were given a 10% discount; however, discounts don't make up for crummy customer service. The kitchen also needed to change the oil in the fryer - it had been burned, and permeated the entire taste of the fried chicken. I'm very bummed since I had heard rave reviews about this restaurant. Any celiac that has experience baking and cooking gluten free could make the food offered here and do a better job of it. As a celiac, I seek out gluten free only restaurants when we travel. It's a shame that this has been the worst restaurant experience I have ever had, even among restaurants who are not equipped for celiac customers. I hope that the cafe can learn from our poor experience, especially considering that the menu raves about how celiacs customers should feel "normal" in the cafe and not like second-class citizens.

The staff was helpful with food allergies. It was great to eat in a restaurant with a totally gluten free kitchen. The waiter was knowledgeable about the food. I had waffles, eggs and fruit. My husband had waffles, fried chicken. Our meals were very large portions. The best waffles I have ever eaten!

We drove half an hour to try this restaurant out after following their Facebook page and drooling over their food pics for months and months. I’m happy to say, it was worth the drive! I was giddy with excitement for my daughter and niece who have celiac disease knowing they could pick ANYTHING they wanted off of the menu. We had a party of 13 and EVERYONE loved their food! All of the staff was super friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back for their delectable pastries and their amazing food!

Taken my celiac son here 3 times in the past 6 months. Two out of three times he was glutened. Staff has been rude and service slow every time we eat here. Food was bland unless you want it spicy. Personally, I like good, tasty food that doesn’t require five-alarm chili peppers. Lots of great options in the neighborhood that have better service, better food, and reliably gluten-free. Won’t be back to Jewels, ever. Edited to add: Talked to a friend who is celiac that has also been glutened there. Very disappointing. Edited to add: reading other reviews, I think the abundant use of oat flour is the source of the gluten exposure. Studies are showing there really is no such thing as truly GF oats due to cc in processing. Certified GF only means there’s less than 20 ppm, not zero. So even if they are using certified GF oat flour, that does not mean there’s zero gluten. Celiacs beware!

Lucky for some they are certified gf oats but for me I cant eat here anymore, unfortunately cross contamination is an issue for me;(

10/18/14- Delicious! We are from Utah and found this amazing 100 percent dedicated gluten free place. First day was at lunch. I enjoyed the poblano deluxe burger with homemade fries, yum!!! Today we went back for breakfast and I had biscuits and gravy!! 4/1/19- We are back again! We went this morning for breakfast and I had fried chicken smothered in their country gravy, potato hash and some eggs. Yum! I haven’t had fried chicken with gravy in over 10 years!! We wish this place was in Utah!!!

Love their food! Staff is not friendly at all. Waitress took our order and never returned. Someone else brought our food, never got our check, never even got a refill on water (super small cups). I ordered for delivery, because they have a company that now delivers,so I was excited! I ordered onion rings, because people raved about them, and a bagel egg and bacon sandwich. I was sadly disappointed with the food, and it was not the fault of the delivery service. The onion rings we're horribly greasy, and very limp and old. The bagel was dry, not butter or condiments, and the bacon was rock hard. The potatoes were inedible. I was so excited to have this meal, and am now sorry I ordered it. Maybe it's better if you go in person and eat there. I wonder
