(Update: this is no longer a safe place for people with celiac. We expected the same great service we had for years but during COVID they’ve changed management and no longer adhere to any type of cross contamination rules.)Had a lovely dinner with my boyfriend at this location. I simply told the hostess that I have food allergies and she sent the Kitchen Manager right to our table. He suggested the Smoked Turkey ( with NO WHITE SAUCE!), I got that with a Baked Potato and Fresh Fruit (which was watermelon). It was all delicious, and the portion sizes were great. *Caution on the Turkey* They do use a rub on the Turkey Breast and I noticed a while later I did get the normal itchy "Celiac Rash" that occurs sometimes on my arms. Visited the location again and got the Smoked Ham with no problems at all 😊
— No gluten-free information on the menu
We stopped here after reading the great reviews. When we asked for a gf menu the server said they don’t offer gf options anymore. She was very apologetic and kind.

French fries, tortilla chips and homemade potato chips have a dedicated fryer. Spoke with the manager to verify. He said they take Celiac & any allergy issues very seriously. I did not get sick.

Went here for dinner the other night and had the BBQ Nachos. (see photos) Waitress provided allergen menu and took my concerns seriously. I had no issues with gluten and everything was great. Adding this place to my personal list if celiac safe places in this area.
Yes
All staff are very knowledgeable. I have only had reactions when I use the sauce on the table (I like sauce so I ask for extra in a bowl). I only ever have the nachos or potato, my sister has the chicken.
The food was delicious. And our waiter was such an amazing person, he had us laughing the whole time.
The food was great I have celiac and had no issues. Our waitress was wonderful and helpful. A must if in the area.

Very good food. Loved, loved, loved their baked beans!

excellent food. very aware.
Allergen list available upon request. I had the BBQ chicken, beans, & potato salad. Enjoyed the tasty meal & no negative gluten effects.

Good Memphis BBQ with eat in dining and a drive through. This is NOT fast food though. Ate brisket, chicken, baked beans and a baked potato without incident. The chicken is exceptionally good! All the sauces are safe, too.

So good! They gave me the allergen menu so I could make the best decision and the waiter seemed to be quite knowledgeable. I had a two meat plate with the pulled pork and sliced turkey breaks, French fries and fresh fruit. I am the only one in my family that is gluten free so the waiter asked if it was ok to bring the biscuits to the table. That is always a win in my book since so many people don't think to ask.
Good food. Took my diet seriously. Dedicated fryer!

My favorite GF BBQ restaurant in Memphis (sorry locals). They have a large amount of GF options!
so amazing, love the smoked wings and turkey breast!
Great food! This place rocks GF! When traveling it is always hard to find GF places that you can truly have a family meal that everyone likes, but this place is just that. They have a gluten free print out when you ask. The sauce is GF, most of the meats, and plenty of the "trimmings"! Would stop here again if we ever find our selves in Memphis again.
The fryer is used only for fries, and so the fries are GF, which was the most amazing discovery when I was pregnant, and craved fries. Their BBQ sauce is GF, and so you can quickly get a plate of BBQ pulled pork, smoked turkey, or BBQ brisket and be completely safe. The baked beans, the coleslaw, and quite a few of their side dishes are perfectly safe by their ingredient list. And when you tell the host(ess) you are GF, you will get a little informal print out telling you what is safe to eat. I've never been glutened there. The food is very yummy.

They have gluten free options and took extra precautions after telling them I was allergic to gluten! This is one of the few places I feel safe eating at. I order their chicken, chilli, corn and their MoCo BBQ sauce (white sauce). The gluten free options are marked on the menu they give at the Concord NC location by Carolina Mills Mall.

I was hopeful to get a new restaurant that had “gluten friendly” options, but sadly I had a reaction here. I’m not celiac but still pretty sensitive to gluten. I ordered the Brisket Chili and Coleslaw. When I asked to have “gluten allergy” placed on the order for the kitchen to be aware, they didn’t seem to know how to handle this request. The customer service was great and everyone was very nice, but would not recommend going if you have a gluten intolerance or sensitivity. ☹

This place is great - Gluten free are marked on the menu. They also have a warning in the menu that the GF items are prepared in a kitchen shared with wheat and cross contamination could occur.
The waitstaff is knowledge able and the kitchen worked with us.

My husband really loves barbecue, and with this location having gluten-free items displayed on their menu; I thought we would try this place. I noticed that they have outside seating and a bar inside. They bring cheese muffins out when you are seated. I ordered 2 appetizers, a soup and salad, and a potatoe. For some reason, all the food came out at once while I had sat waiting, watching my husband eat the yummy biscuits that I couldn't eat. The food was delicious, but I was frustrated that they brought all the food out at once and didn't even bring the appetizers out as the appetizer. Next time I am in Hiram, we will try this again and maybe I will get to try the barbecue.
