NOT GLUTEN FREE. They advertise and tell you on the menu that their items are gluten free, but when my nachos arrived and I asked if they are made in a fryer with gluten items I was told yes. Thankfully I did not eat them before asking.

Good experience but staff needs a bit more training. No one seemed to know what was safe. They kept saying most items are gluten free, but there’s a big difference between gluten free and celiac safe. Disappointed to learn that their fryer is NOT dedicated (back in the day they did have a dedicated fryer). So it basically eliminates half of their “gluten free” options. Basic things like chips and salsa I couldn’t eat because they fry the chips. Food is really good but my level of comfort for celiac folks is fading. I think the owners could make some really small menu/fryer changes which could accommodate the celiac community and totally own the Milford market.

I’m Celiac and got sick from here tonight. Server was not knowledgeable and said food “should be” gluten free... then I asked him to speak with the chef but I still got sick... not sure what it was: I had baby back ribs, black beans and greens. ☹

I have been a customer of theirs for over 10 years. The food is excellent and they offer a lot of dishes that are gluten free and vegetarian. I have never felt sick after eating there and they always have great entertainment at their new restaurant in Stratford. One day I was at work and couldn’t get out and the owner JOE brought my order to me. He really appreciates my business which made my day!!

I really wanted to like this place. But for $21 (including tax/tip), the lunch was not up to par. The meat was good, the sauce was good, but the plate it came on was so hot that I wondered if it had just been heated up in a microwave. The servings are large, but the coleslaw was average at best, and the collard greens (meat free for vegetarians) were just eh. And they don't brew iced tea! At a BBQ place!!! The server was friendly but neglected to check on me after my food arrived until I was finished (and out of water for some time). I didn't get sick, which is a major plus, but overall I wouldn't eat here again.

good food but be careful there is a shared fryer and I had to ask the waitress who was great about cross contaimination, she was great but said the chef wouldn't guarantee anything so a lot of the food on the gluten free menu is off limits if you are strict gluten free. Burger and GF bun was good but wish I could have tried the wings and fries

Loved this Bbq tex-mex restaurant! Almost their entire menu is gluten free including cornbread, corn tortillas for fajitas/tacos/etc, French fries, and amazing scalloped potatoes! Their pulled pork nachos and scalloped potatoes were my favorite! Their ribs and chili are pretty good too. Terrific service as well! We will definitely be back again! When you visit just ask for the gluten free menu, but again practically everything is gluten free anyways. Another reviewer had said the cornbread wasn't gluten free but I was told it is and did not have any reaction to it so they may have updated that recently.

Best BBQ and tequila!!! Cornbread isn't Gfree but is listed on the Gfree menu for some reason. Make sure to ask/double check with the server so your late doesn't get contaminated. Really great menu, great service, amazing food!

Food was good and they have a really big gluten free menu, you just have to ask for it. They did put cornbread on my tray which I didn't eat, not sure that was safe but it wasn't touching anything so I just left it.
