I was diagnosed last week and have been really bummed out about all of the things I can no longer eat. When my husband told me Johnny Z's (our FAVORITE pizza place) has a GF menu, I couldn't order fast enough.
I was truly impressed with the pizza and cheese bread. My husband even enjoyed it and thats saying something. It wasn't super greasy and the crust had a nice texture. I will absolutely order from them again.
I'm not sure if there was any cross contamination as I am too new to all of this. However, I do live next to someone who works there. I will go over and ask about their procedures tomorrow.
cauliflower crust was very light and actually fluffy, not cracker-y and thin. I also have a dairy allergy, so I had the violife dairy free cheese and a very nice surprise - vegan ranch! the ranch was amazing and homemade. my pizza with italian sausage and banana peppers was the best gluten/dairy free pizza I’ve had. will be making it a point to go back if I’m in town again.

Staff was amazing. My pizza tasted really good!!!! It does dry out on the second day, but it’s amazing fresh.
Pizza crust is super greasy and may have gotten cross contaminated.
Just found this place on Harper and is now by far the best gluten free pizza around. The crust is on another level and puts everyone’s else’s to shame
