We had a wonderful dinner at Johnny’s Tavern! The food was delicious, served in wonderful portions and the prices were reasonable. Most of their pastas can be made gluten free. You may need to just 86 the breadcrumbs from a few. I opted for the “squid ink” spaccatelli and subbed GF pasta. It was very flavorful with garlic cream sauce, Calabrian chili, mussels, shrimp and tender scallops. Our server was knowledgeable and Informed me of what I could have and the subs I’d have to make. She even warned me of cross contamination when I said I was going to steal some of my husband’s fries. The cocktails were more than creative and impressive. I loved the Baba Jaga!!! We will absolutely be back if we are in the area.
For people with non-GF dining partners, my husband loved his giant portion of fish and chips and his French onion soup. I can attest that the fries were delicious as I can handle cross contamination.

They recently started offering gluten free pasta…. They’re dishes are some of the best I have ever had; especially the bolognese!!! I have no had any issues. They do not have gluten free bread however.

Really disappointed in the gluten free options . Today’s day & age they need to step up . Someone can have a salad anywhere . Other people in my party(not gluten free) did enjoy their meal though and the service was good .
Waitress was very good at informing me what meals could be made gluten-free.. The food was excellent! The only downside is there is there were no appetizers to be made gluten-free.
