Review of Jordan Pond House Restaurant

The staff lacks training - our waitress last night was clueless about the allergy and what was safe to order. There is only one entree on the menu that is celiac friendly - the chicken. It is very good, just more options would be nice. All the chowders and stews were also GF. There is also the option of a salad (remind them no croutons). Avoid the lunchtime crowds and come for dinner. There are much better places to eat (for those with celiac) but it is part of the Acadia experience eating here. Note: I rated it celiac friendly because the chefs handle the prep well, and I've never gotten sick here. However, be very clear with the servers about your allergy needs.
