Really great experience!! Our server Anna was absolutely fantastic, she was very knowledgeable about celiac/gluten allergy and made sure to double check with the kitchen - chips were fried with other gluten-containing items but she brought out a plate of veggies for me to dip my guac in! I also had avocado and carne asada tacos with rice and black beans which were delicious and I had no problems (and am usually very sensitive)
I’m not sure what safety protocols they follow. My food came out safe but the waiter was kind of a jerk. Every time I brought up my food problems he answered in kind of a rude joking way and when I ordered I asked if my food was safe and he was like uhhhh I think so because of him not being sure I asked for him to double check with the kitchen and he said no!
I got the vegan enchiladas and they were fantastic! It was very filling, tasty, not super expensive, and I didn’t get sick!
Went today to get fajitas with corn tortillas, as this has always been my go to for meals here. Asked the waiter if their chips were celiac friendly and his response was, “If your allergy is severe there is absolutely nothing here you can eat.” Then he walked away from the table. Big disappointment...won’t be back.
Not as easy to order gluten free meals there as it used to be. They no longer have a printed gluten free menu. If you have an idea of what you would like, the server will see if it can be made gluten free. They only messed up an order once in years of eating gluten free here. I caught the mistake--flour tortilla instead of corn. I have been able to eat here safely at both locations.
Limited selection and staff not very knowledgable. Stick to the menu, as that prepared at corporate level and is accurate. They do have options tho, so you aren't stuck with salad. They will make you special stuff too. Like beans and rice in a bowl with cheese melted over it.
limited selection... veggie, chicken, shrimp fajita or salad
