Review of Joshua's Cafe

Folks with celiac need to be vigilant if they want to eat here safely. When we ordered we told the waitress we all had to eat gf (3 of the 4 people in our party have celiac). Right away she asked whether we wanted white or whole wheat pita, showing that she hadn’t listened or understood what gf means. We ordered the blackened shrimp appetizer which is clearly marked gf on the menu. But it arrived on top of tortilla chips, and when we asked if they were cooked in the same oil as gf-containing food the waitress checked with the chef and said yes! The food was good but too risky; we won’t be back.
