It's OK, some of the menu can have gluten free substitution like GF toast, but not much. I asked for the ADB and I was told the sausages have wheat and was asked about a substitute. I had to prompt the waitress about the black pudding who wasn't sure but as expected it also contains gluten. It wouldn't be my first choice for a place to eat but the standard menu is good enough for friends and family so I tend to just make do. I'm not coeliac and I wouldn't say I'd be confident coming here if I had CD. I'm also dairy free and they have *very* little on offer to cater to both. If there were alternatives nearby I would avoid Josie's altogether. Real shame because the food is fairly decent (though not amazing) but they just seem to have very little tolerance for those with intolerances or allergies. Hopefully one day they catch up. They do have alternative milks for coffee.

Really great menu, with gluten free Toasties and fried chicken, but I would always tell the server. But they all have great knowledge!

Josies is a favourite of mine for breakfast or lunch. Knowledgeable and a good selection if GF options including fried chicken!
