Celiac and Hashimoto. Not very many options to choose from. Had the pan seared trout, however about 20 minutes after eating started to experience bloating.

Several GF options well labeled on their menu including fries! All spirits are gluten free. Really nice place to visit!

Great drinks and a few GF options (not a ton). GF buns, salads, and fries are GF and done in separate frier from other stuff. Our celiac daughter had an order of fries and loved them.

I don’t really get why multiple things on the menu were listed as gluten free when they are fried in a common fryer. It made me question other things on the menu I was assured were gluten free. I got the trout which was good but the portion size was unreal, I think I got about 3oz of fish meat. No sides. 24 bucks. Not worth it. We won’t be back unfortunately

Did the Distillery tour and was impressed with the description of their gf certification process. (Kosher and organic too). Stayed for dinner after the tour. The server was very knowledgeable and double checked everything with the kitchen to make sure nothing had changed. My meal was delivered separately and identified as gluten free by the waiter who brought it. I just had a turkey club with brussels sprouts, so nothing fancy, but both were excellent. Definitely worth a return trip!

Our waitress and the kitchen staff today went above and beyond to accommodate me at brunch. I asked for a veggie scramble (not on the menu) and they delivered it beautifully on a gluten-free toasted bun.

The French fries are not gluten free. The menu says so, but upon questioning, they say the fries are not cooked by themselves but with breaded chicken tenders.
The food was good and the server knew her menu. But we came for the fries and I’m very disappointed.

Tried to order a drink at the bar- nothing gluten free or at least the bar tender was not willing to help at all. Couldn’t drink the beer or whiskey. Would not recommend for anyone gluten-free.

Waitress went over drinks with others I was with, seemed educated in drinks. I didn't see any gf marked drinks on menu, no biggie, I'm not a drinker anyway. She said they can't promise no wheat would be in their drinks due to process of making their alcohol.. When I asked about menu's gf marked fries and the other gf potatoes on menu, I was told they are both fried and they don't have a dedicated fryer "but it's ok because it cooks out," referring to the gluten. I was disappointed hearing that knowing that's not true. I ordered the gf chicken breast, skipping the wheat whiskey glazed sauce it says it comes with.. Came dry, thinnest part was crunchy. Due to our drive, long wait for table, and longer wait for food, I chose not to complain and just ate it. I'm giving my rating because chicken shouldn't have been served so overcooked, waitress should have been better trained in (gluten) cross contamination, I was mildly cross contaminated despite my efforts to prevent it, and they do not offer a gf bun for their sandwiches. Honestly it's a good thing I'm celiac and not a true wheat allergy as I identified myself. Atmosphere was nice. My non gf friends enjoyed their drinks and meal.

Distillery that is organic and kosher certified also produces a certified Gluten Free vodka and gin from corn. Their full service restaurant (Staymaker at Journeyman Distillery) uses quality locally sourced ingredients as much as possible. Gluten Free choices are clearly marked on the standard menu. Knowledgeable servers can discuss your allergy and Gluten-Free options. The food menu is not extensive (there are 4 excellent GF entree’s) but all the selections are made with top quality ingredients and well prepared. My favorite is the Hanger Steak with roasted potatoes; absolutely delicious. Their fries are GF and they offer 2 GF deserts (Flourless Chocolate Cake or Cheesecake Bites). I have eaten here multiple times and never had a gluten reaction. Everyone in our party always loves the food. This is a craft distillery and they produce spirits from a variety of ingredients on site. They know the ingredients for their products and are happy to discuss. The distillery produces 2 certified GF spirits: Field Vodka and Field Gin Note, they do not serve any wine or beer (other than non-alcoholic Barritt's Ginger Beer, which is gluten free). They are located in a repurposed historic manufacturing building. The interior is an open cosmopolitan space that is seldom found outside of trendy big cities. Their online site provides extensive information about both the distillery and restaurant. This is a great GF dining option in Harbor Country that everyone will love.
