Chicken was lukewarm. I asked the server to bring the bottle of dressing so I could read the ingredients as she did not know if it was GF. Rather, when she brought my side salad, she said “oh the dressing is GF”. Can’t believe they don’t make their own dressings. This is supposed to be an upscale place. They were also not social distancing tables in hotbed WI. Would not recommend.

We waited for 15 minutes before a lady (manager) from the second floor asked if we are waiting to be seated. I said Yes. That is what the sign says “Please wait to be seated”. She apologized and said she forgot about the sign. The waitress was friendly and nice. She confided when asked by the Mrs. She has never tasted the GF bread. I don’t understand restaurants chefs that don’t make all servers taste all menu options to know what the food taste like from the menu for when customers ask.
Waitress never introduced herself or asked if this was our first time. I guess they don’t care about such trivialities.
In all fairness it was my fault I did not mention to our waitress that I like my burger Medium -well. So the “chef” must guessed the standard is hockey-puck burnt well done. We were at the restaurant for 45 minutes the waitress never came back to ask if we wanted water refills. When the Mrs asked is the salad dressing is GF the waitress said she did not know as the salad dressing was store bought.... How lazy does your chef and cooks have to be they cant make their own balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The waitress NEVER asked if we wanted desert another missed opportunity. In these COVID-19 times a lot restaurants might go under because they don’t know how to adapt with the changes and re-invent themselves since they’ve never had to do it before.
I would not ever return to this restaurant and sad that a lot of restaurant owners probably never read customer reviews to know what is going wrong under their own noses!
Juniper restaurant service and food was a FAIL. I would not recommend them to any one I care for or consider a friend.

GF items clearly labeled on menu. GF buns for burgers/sandwiches. Shared fryer, so fries not an option, but willing to sub a salad (which was delicious). Waitress had no problem checking which salad dressing were GF. Delicious food and no issues.
Yes
Sadly, the gf and non gf food was not impressive. My gf fish and my husband's ribeye lacked flavor. I did tell my husband he shouldn't order the ribeye because it was the only steak on the menu! The ice cream place across the street made up for this place. I had the best vanilla, Carmel, chocolate chunk ice cream ever! And they knew it was gf, not surprising no gf cones
They offer gluten-free buns. We asked about their grill and they said they don’t have any bread come into contact with the grill. I enjoyed a burger and a salad. Very delicious
