The best tasting ramen ever. Even my gluten loving husband loved his. They had gluten free ramen and cooked it in there own water. However, I still got gluten from there. I had a reaction about 20 min later sadly.
It’s not easy to find gluten-free ramen, so glad to have found this place! Waiter was very knowledgeable about gluten-free options and advised me to avoid appetizers to minimize risk of cross-contamination. Noodles were boiled separately. Got the tomato ramen and was very satisfied overall!
Have to ask but have GF noodle and they can make tan tan men, tomato ramen, and shoyu ramen w/o char siu gluten free
Very knowledgeable server helped me understand the two gluten free ramen options. The vegetable tan men was delicious (spicy x 2) and this sensitive celiac did not get sick. We enjoyed it so much that we went back again a few days later.
Only 2 soups can be gluten free. They can't do any gluten free meat either. We just left.
We had a great meal. Veggie ramen was delicious and my husband had a gluten curry. The server asked all the right questions and I did not get sick.
So we went here based on app reviews. What information I felt was missing was that they could not do any meats gluten free. My meat loving family found this unacceptable do we did not stay 😕
Great find! GF noodles clearly marked on menu and staff was able to answer all questions regarding which ramen could be made GF. I got the veggie ramen with GF noodles and it was delicious! Great customer service too. First ramen place I’ve found that I can eat at and felt comfortable eating there. Staff delivered my meal and reiterated GF when placed on table
I had a great experience here! Our server knew exactly what was gf and was able to walk me though the menu. I ended up getting the vegetable ramen with veggie broth and gf noodles. The noodles are rice noodles but are colored with a yellow hue to make them look like ramen (I was worried for a min they were not gf because they looked like real ramen noodles). Our server also said they typically use all new utensils and such when preparing a fully gf bowl. He was also willing to ask the kitchen to be extra careful. I enjoyed my meal and I did not get sick afterwards.
I’ve always loved this restaurant, and as someone who just recently discovered they might have gluten-sensitivity triggers to IBS (as of last year), I was saddened by the fact that ramen and udon wouldn’t be a safe meal for me anymore. They however have gluten-free noodle options that taste just as good as the original recipe!!! Broth as good as the many years prior, the gluten-free noodles don’t make a difference. Their salads (minus quinoa) are also great!
NOT Celiac safe. They changed out the water and used GF noodles (which were great!), but my partner and I got sick after having their vegetarian tomato ramen that was supposed to be gluten free. We're really sad because we had super high hopes for this place based on the reviews.
Had two choices of soup - tan tan men and tomato soup. Had tan tan men with gluten free noodles. Their noodles are not the usual gluten free noodles in a good way. Almost couldn’t tell the difference. Had a lot of veggies on top that was nice. Their vegan tantanmen Soup lacked the dashi taste and wasn’t quite satisfying. Didn’t get sick.
The waiter was knowledgeable about what was gluten free. I had the tantanmen with gluten free noodles. It came with ground pork and he assured me the pork did not have soy sauce. The noodles were amazing! I had to make my husband try one because I was afraid they weren’t actually gluten free noodles. He said they were just slightly different tasting than his gluten noodles. I was very impressed! I have celiac disease and didn’t have any reactions after eating here. Highly recommend.
Staff is great! Their gluten free ramen noodles are delicious! Worth every penny when you haven’t had ramen in years. They’ll use gluten free soy sauce in the broth if you tell them you need the broth gluten free too. Don’t get the pork/ground pork because it’s marinated in soy sauce.
I have had Pho frequently so when I received my rice ramen noodle I was a little concerned at the appearance of the noodle and how different the texture was that I had my friend hold a noodle next to hers and taste it. It was fabulous. The ramen bowl I had was fantastic in how it was very tasty and also did not give me a reaction. The server did not know everything on the menu I could have, but spoke with someone else about it who was knowledgeable. I would eat here again next time I’m in Hawaii.
