NOT Celiac safe. They changed out the water and used GF noodles (which were great!), but my partner and I got sick after having their vegetarian tomato ramen that was supposed to be gluten free. We're really sad because we had super high hopes for this place based on the reviews.
No
Had two choices of soup - tan tan men and tomato soup. Had tan tan men with gluten free noodles. Their noodles are not the usual gluten free noodles in a good way. Almost couldn’t tell the difference. Had a lot of veggies on top that was nice. Their vegan tantanmen Soup lacked the dashi taste and wasn’t quite satisfying. Didn’t get sick.
The waiter was knowledgeable about what was gluten free. I had the tantanmen with gluten free noodles. It came with ground pork and he assured me the pork did not have soy sauce. The noodles were amazing! I had to make my husband try one because I was afraid they weren’t actually gluten free noodles. He said they were just slightly different tasting than his gluten noodles. I was very impressed! I have celiac disease and didn’t have any reactions after eating here. Highly recommend.

Staff is great! Their gluten free ramen noodles are delicious! Worth every penny when you haven’t had ramen in years. They’ll use gluten free soy sauce in the broth if you tell them you need the broth gluten free too. Don’t get the pork/ground pork because it’s marinated in soy sauce.
I have had Pho frequently so when I received my rice ramen noodle I was a little concerned at the appearance of the noodle and how different the texture was that I had my friend hold a noodle next to hers and taste it. It was fabulous. The ramen bowl I had was fantastic in how it was very tasty and also did not give me a reaction. The server did not know everything on the menu I could have, but spoke with someone else about it who was knowledgeable. I would eat here again next time I’m in Hawaii.
