A great seafood-heavy restaurant with an open kitchen but some excellent GF and non-seafood options.
There is no GF menu. When asked, the waitress checked with the kitchen and then identified about half-a-dozen GF dishes, mostly seafood. I had the oven-roasted “Yard Bird” which was absolutely delicious and the best thing I ate all trip. Our party all had different orders, but everyone loved their meal.
The menu changes frequently; when I was there it was served with a sauce over cheddar grits and stewed greens, but a check of the menu now (late September) has the grits being served with stewed pumpkin and local autumn vegetables.
They were very accommodating with substations, and the chef came out to check with one of our party when she made some odd ones.
