Kai Coffee

While ordering a coffee, my partner mentioned potentially getting an açaí bowl and I told him that the oats were probably not gluten free here. The cashier heard and said “no, our oats are gluten free.” I said wow that’s awesome and ordered one, then got a feeling and double checked with another person “are these CERTIFIED gluten free” and he told me that no they weren’t certified, but all oats are gluten free. He argued with me for a bit and I just walked away, but was just annoyed that they would emphatically misrepresent it that way.
