We came here for my birthday and WOW. The sushi chef, Tai was so kind and friendly and helpful. We asked lots of questions about what had soy sauce or gluten, and he even made the dragon roll special with yellow tail instead of eel for us that wasn’t marinated in soy sauce so I could have it, and mixed up the sauce with tamari instead of soy. When he found out it was my birthday he even brought out some ice cream. The rolls were delicious and no reaction!! Super friendly service, and very accommodating. We will be back!

The waitress was really nice but as soon as I started asking about gluten free, her lack of knowledge showed. Everything we asked for, she would go into the back then come back and say “such and such has gluten.” She tried to tell me to get something because “it doesn’t have rice so you can eat that.” But then I pointed out it has crab, which she already confirmed to have gluten (aka imitation crab). We ended up with avocado rolls and sushimi. (My daughter doesn’t like spicy tuna, or we would have had a couple more options).

Servers are knowledgeable about gluten issues and can provide Tamari soy sauce for the table. Eaten here several times without getting sick. Just double-check that the sauces that come out with each roll are safe — the chefs have mistakenly put unsafe sauces on the plate by mistake (but it was easily resolved).

The sushi chef is amazing! He understands gluten free needs and will make anything gluten free. He even created special rolls for me. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
