Review

Before getting Celiac , unagi (eel) was my favorite food in the world, but in the US it’s shipped over already in the marinade which contains soy sauce w gluten (until recently when you can sometimes find it at Wegmans!). This is the first time in over a decade I’ve been able to eat my favorite food in a restaurant and not get sick! It was sooo good! You can only get the “white” preparation (no sauce), but I called ahead and they said it’s ok to bring homemade sauce (equal parts gf soy sauce, mirin, and sugar) since I have an allergy. Amazing! The staff was very nice and knowledgeable (don’t eat the soup that comes with it), and you can have as much rice as you like with your unagi. Definitely recommend!!
