Staff is very knowledgeable about gluten. They will check in with kitchen staff about everything, even without me prompting them to. They often take extra little steps to make my experience better, which is so appreciated (ie- letting me know about food ordered by others in case I want to try their food, bringing out tamari without me asking, putting sauces on the side even if safe, etc). This restaurant makes me feel normal and not “annoying” at all for my questions and requests. They know what they’re doing and I’ve never reacted eating here.
Lots of gluten free options, although not marked, and they can make almost anything gluten free for you. Just let the staff know why you’re interested and they will make it work. They really pay attention to the details for you so you can enjoy your meal. Several gluten free sake options as well.
Really good quality sushi. I definitely suggest the chef’s special to branch out and try some new delicious fish.
