We went there with my 8 year old, who has celiac disease. I called beforehand to make sure its suitable for celiac and they assured me that it'll be safe. Not to mention that we were really happy and excited as it is quite rare that we can go out eating someplace.
We had gluten free burger and fries. Right after finishing the meal my kid became sick and began throwing up massively still in the restaurant which is her lead symptom when ingesting gluten. She has been feeling unwell for days after this.
I am writing this still very unsure on what happened. I talked to the staff and the chef, they ensured me that it couldn't have been their food and no cross contamination was possible.
I must say, it did sound plausible, but to think that my kids reaction had nothing to do with the served food would be naive. I cannot trace back where a mistake was made but all in all the restaurant dealt with the whole situation poorly. It was a really regrettable experience.

The menu explicitly states that all dishes (except baked fish) can also be served gluten-free (partly for a small surcharge). For example, there are also gluten-free burgers and schnitzels. How safe it is in terms of contamination, you would have to ask again to be safe.
