Such an incredible experience! I was a initally pretty skeptical that I would have any food options, but I was pleasantly surprised. Firstly, the entire staff was super friendly and accommodating EVEN BEFORE they found out my dietary/medical needs. Then I explained my Celiac disease to the server who wasn't too familiar with the condition, but was well aware of allergies in general (as well as gluten and it's potential problems). Not only did he inform the chef, management, and ALL other wait staff, he also continued to check on how I was feeling after every course! Although Karl Strauss, doesn't have a printed gluten safe menu, there were quite a few options that came direct from the head chef! No doubt their staff knows the menu and ingredients. I even got to enjoy dessert options and they have a cider that was gluten free and pretty tasty!Undoubtedly, we will be frequenting this spot!
