Kasei Sushi and Sake

Server was NOT knowledgeable at all . Asked multiple times if nigiri salmon roe was gluten free. Multiple times was told yes , no soy sauce it’s ok . After tasting it and noticing soy sauce we asked AGAIN , and were informed it indeed was marinated in soy sauce. Not recommendable . Praying not to get sick .

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Poor

They have tamari and coconut aminos as options. I didn’t see anything fried on the menu. I just stuck to a beef and rice bowl (gyu don) and the California sushi roll. Im honestly not familiar with Japanese cuisine to speak to the whole menu. But what I had was all very tasty.
