They offer GF bread and have a dedicated toaster, which was great to go with my omelet, however the waitress was condescending when I asked if they would take special care to ensure no CC. She said “omelets don’t have gluten”.

I called ahead of time to see if Kate’s Place was willing to ensure that my daughter’s meal was not cross contaminated. They said that they were unwilling to toast gluten free bread in a manner that would not cross contaminate. They were too busy and were not friendly or accommodating. Pre-celiac, this has been a favorite place. No longer recommended.

Great place! The food was great! Loved the grits. The staff was very professional handling a disgruntled, rude patron. We were very impressed with this place!

Delicious and flavorful food! Did not get sick. A+
Great food. Worked well with my wife's food allergies. Really great service.
Awesome place for breakfast. Cheese grits are a delicious side option, or potatoes or fruit. They stock gluten free bread (though it wasn't listed on the menu - I had to ask). Our waitress was gluten free and very sweet. They use natural meats and local items when possible. Outside seating was perfect for our large group with lots of kids. Coffee was delicious.
