This was actually a lot safer than I was expecting! They had a gluten free menu with a surprising amount of options, and the waitress was very knowledgeable. They also have gluten free soy sauce! The food comes out as it’s prepared, and the person bringing it out might not be your waiter and might not know about your dietary restrictions, so just be sure to check and clarify. I was able to get the rainbow roll (upgraded to regular crab because the imitation crab has gluten) and the waitress brought it out and clarified after I asked the original person bringing it out if it was safe. The miso soup and the edamame are safe. Overall, would recommend!

The items we ordered from the gluten-free menu (edamame, steamed rice, teriyaki beef) were safe. However, our server said they could do a salmon/avocado and California role gluten-free as well, but these contained gluten (all items tested with Nima). I recommend ordering only from the gluten-free menu and staying away from any rolls. Good service and ambiance.
Sushi rice is gluten free. They also have gluten free soy sauce : )
My only option was an overpriced salad. Not a place to go for sushi if you're celiac.
No
So disappointed! I came for my 40th birthday only to find out they no longer have gluten free rice!!!! They shouldn't even be on this app.
*Correction: I came to the Glendale location.
The sushi rice has gluten in it! Such a bummer. They do have a gf menu but it's not extensive by any means. Because of the rice issue I couldn't get any rolls - kind of defeats the purpose of going out for sushi in my opinion. The decor of the restaurant itself is really interesting though.
