I was not impressed with Katz’s gluten free options. When I asked about sides, I was told that nothing is safe because everything is shared. They offer gluten free bread, but there is nothing that says which sandwiches or ingredients are gluten free. There is one entree and one dessert listed as GF on the menu. The waitress wasn’t really willing to help or get a manager, just kind of laughed it off. I stated my allergy when I asked about gluten free options. After she repeated our order, I asked if she made a note of the gluten allergy for the kitchen, and she’d already sent in the order and would have to go down to the kitchen to tell them. It could have just been our waitress, but I definitely didn’t feel safe eating here.
