Kauai Pasta

As a Celiac, I would not recommend. I believe I got glutened here.

Delicious! They have rice pasta so you can get any pasta dish on the menu.

gluten free but the pizza was not that good. really thick gooey crust

GF Pasta Marinara was ok. I didn't like GF pizza, the crust was too soft for me.

Kapaa location: don't go for lunch or Happy Hour. They seat you in the (very) dark bar, which is apparently a hangout for Kapaa's less successful residents. GF clam pasta was delicious, as was the (gluteny) pesto chicken with pasta and the lasagna. But service was AWFUL, except for one poor Hawaiian woman who appeared to be running around picking up the slack from the other waitresses. We waited a long time even for drinks, and overheard a waitress saying they had run out of beer glasses. How does that happen, are they not washing dishes?? This makes me suspicious that cross contamination could occur. Also somewhat pricey for the lunch menu and atmosphere. If you must eat here, wait for the restaurant to open. I can only hope that the service there is more worthy of their tasty food. P.S. Pizza is only served at dinner hours, not for lunch. Disappointing.

My mom got the GF margherita pizza. The GF pizza was great. It's not the typical pre-packaged dough you usually get. It was thicker than most crusts and light and fluffy. It was a little salty, but in a good way. I had the GF pesto. The sauce was really good, the noodles were average. 5 stars for the pizza, 3 stars for the pasta. Prices are between $15-$20 a plate plus the usual $2 GF surcharge.

The waitress was very knowledgeable about celiacs and mentioned that they change everything when GF was ordered. Separate pots, water, etc. I didn't have a reaction at all.

Not Gluten Free. My daughter is celiac and ordered a GF meal and had a serious reaction. We know it can happen and are very careful with her food and especially where we eat. Even though we were very specific and repeatedly mentioned her gluten intolerance (1) when making the reservation, (2) as we came into the restaurant, and (3) with the waiter (Adam) 4 or 5 times, there must have been a cross contamination. Even though the rest of the food was good, the waiter and staff friendly - my daughter is having a serious gluten reaction and I have to rate the restaurant poorly because we don't feel that you can trust their GF meals.

Fantastic pasta! Pesto and marinara are great! Many salad choices and pizza choices. Didn't taste those but they are there.

Very good gluten free options! Gf food and not GF food was quality! Service was exceptional along with all staff. Waitress eager to find out if soup of day GF. Would defiantly visit again.

Great food for gf and non-gf. We had lunch and the portion sizes were perfect and tasted great. Service was very good. Lunch was cheap by Kauai standards. Wish we would have found this before our last day here.

Loved loved my gluten free pasta dish!! I chose the sauce with sausage, beef and mushrooms and loved it. My husband thought the marinara sauce was wonderful on his dish. Great service and our favorite meal this week! We're going back tomorrow!!

Good brown rice pasta is available. Yummy yummy!
