Had so much hope for a great, safe, Italian food spot since there were so many great comments. Unfortunately, for me not only did I get sick but the food wasn’t even good. The appetizer “bread” was a legitimate hamburger bun, honestly that was hilarious. The entre was the carbonara and mine did come out with spaghetti noodles (visual confirmation that they are gluten free) but sure enough, I’m as puffy as ever in my face today. Only tasty item we had was the meatballs, but again, if those were the culprit, I’d pass.

I was hit with gluten during my third visit to this restaurant. I spoke to the waiter to clearly identify my issues, which didn’t seem to make a difference. I think cross contamination is an issue.

This was probably the best experience I have had since being told I have Celiac Disease. They are a safe restaurant with the option of making almost every dish GF. Also the meatballs can even be GF if you ask. We told our server my restrictions and he said that it was no problem they prep GF in a different area of the kitchen so there is no Cross contamination. Definitely Go here!!!! This is our new favorite spot.

We were traveling in Dallas and found Kenny’s on the gf app. We loved the atmosphere of this place. It was packed on a Monday night which was a sign to us that it was going to be good. The waiter was knowledgeable about gluten and cross contamination but we did get served gluten-FULL entrees by a mistake in the kitchen. We were several bites into my husbands fettuccine carbonara and were exclaiming about how amazing it was when our waiter came and said how lucky were that they had fettuccini noodles as gf would usually be spaghetti noodles but they were out. At that point I looked down at my plate and said but these are spaghetti noodles. The look on our poor waiters face as it fell was as dismayed as ours. He took both dishes back to the kitchen and had them remade. They were still good but we can’t give more stars because we were served gluten and now have to pay the consequences of that while traveling which is extra not fun. They did comp our meal which was good of them to do and the manager came and talked with us. Everyone was very apologetic.

The best gluten free Italian ive had. The staff is super careful and even warn the kitchen. My waitress even asked me if i was celiac! They also offer complimentary gluten free bread as an appetizer. The noodles are very well cooked! This place is a must go when in town. Definitely coming back here!

OMG! My favorite gluten free restaurant in DFW (over Company and Origin). Have eaten here many many times with no issues (I am celiac). AMAZING FOOD! Do yourself a favor, skip the free GF bread they bring out, and get the GF garlic cheese bread instead (TO DIE FOR)! Also, do yourself a favor and reserve a GF lasagna 48 hours in advance, you will thank me! I always regret when I don't reserve a lasagna! HA HA! I am in love with this place! NEVER any issues!

The food was absolutely delicious. I'm visiting the city but plan to go back again before I leave. The bread. BREAD!!! Was soft, fluffy. Mmmm The staff was great too. I ordered two half servings because I couldn't decide. The chicken scallopini was fantastic, a combination of flavors I've never had before. I also had the baked ziti which was good, not mind-blowing though. Most items on the menu are available gluten-free, but they don't have a totally separate menu.

Awesome experience. They brought me GF bread & I ordered GF Fettuccine Alfredo with blackened shrimp. Food was amazing & I felt like a normal person getting to have the foods I used to eat prior to celiac without having to do a lot of explaining. I recommend!

Most of the menu can be made gluten free. Gluten free bread was offered as well. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, chicken parm and veal piccata. Everything was delicious.
For dessert we shared a spumoni, which is ice cream (pistachio, vanilla, cherry).
Staff is knowledgeable. Awesome service.

Their food is amazing, serving staff is amazing but their accessibility (I am in a wheelchair 98% of the time unfortunately) can leave something to be desired to on my last visit though I have talked with management and hope they change it. I would highly recommend their gluten free fried cheese sticks! I’m addicted and get my own order when I come that all mine!

Oh Man! This place was amazing! Super celiac educated and friendly! Between the GF mozzarella sticks and house bread, to a majority of options being able to be made GF safe it was AMAZING. Our waiter kept smiling because of how excited I was, she completely understood and was supportive! I cannot recommend enough

My husband and teenage daughter were traveling into Dallas from Colorado for a soccer tournament and I was researching food options and came across Kenny’s.
My daughter has several allergies (Gluten/Dairy/Soy/Shellfish), so as you can imagine, eating, while traveling, can be quite difficult for her/us.
I emailed Elizabeth Mardeda, Managing Partner, at Kenny’s, to find out if there was anything on their menu that may accommodate her restrictions.
Not only was Liz willing to go above and beyond to accommodate our families needs, but she was also so sweet! Kenny’s was willing to make a special batch of Gluten Free meatballs, create a salad specifically to her liking, and Liz even went to the local grocery store to purchase the special Gluten/dairy/soy free Ranch dressing my daughter loves to have with her Salads!! She said she “loves seeing great Mom's going above and beyond for their children!”
Liz, you can’t imagine what this meant for our family. The burden and anxiety of food allergies, especially while traveling out of state, can make any trip stressful. However, because of you, not only did my daughter have an AMAZING meal (she said it was the BEST, EVER!!), but you made our trip to Dallas an unforgettable one!! Thank you!

We went this past weekend for the first time. Service was excellent, and their staff is knowledgeable about Celiac. They have safety procedures in place to avoid cross-contamination, including dedicated kitchen space. They can make most items gluten free including their meatballs and chicken parm. Highly recommend.

The best place ever, my son has celiac so we always look for restaurants, he loves Kenny’s Burger but now we decided to check Kenny’s Pizza which was simply excellent, we tried: BBQ pizza, Vegetable Pizza, Classic Pizza, GF Meatballs pasta, ice cream and brownies. Everything was delicious and we kept asking ourselves if it GF but as my son had no gluten reaction and he is a very sensitive celiac boy we declared the place as The Best GF Family Restaurant we have ever been. Thank you Kenny’s pizza for doing all this efforts for celiac people

This was an amazing experience! We called ahead to check on food safety. They answered all our questions and made us feel soooo welcome. They even marked it on the reservation so that the waiter knew before we even got there. The manager came to the table to make sure we felt comfortable. The food was AMAZING. Try the gluten free brownie. They brought gluten free bread to the table. This will now be a go to place for us!!

Awesome Food that actually tastes Italian!!! Nice restaurant in a good area of town! The manager is very considerate and makes sure you are safe. They even offer complimentary glutenfree bread. The pasta was awesome! This is a diamond! We are real sensitive wheb it comes to Celiac and it's safe to say we had no reaction!

THIS WAS THE MOST AMAZING GF DINING EXPERIENCE!!! Italian food is a hard one to pull off GF. Most of the time your options are ....salad. BUT KENNYS they can make any dish GF (except ravioli, lasagna, and gnocchi since it has a wheat batter put on, big sad) But the staff was so helpful and understanding and even brought out a separate loaf of GF bread for me with the oil and vinegar! So no they don’t have a separate menu but only the three items listed above are off limits. And the GF penne I had (instead of the gnocchi) was spectacular! It was not gummy or chewy like some GF pasta. It was absolutely perfect and we will definitely be back in future

One of my favorite places to eat! They accommodate very well to gluten free needs.
Will make anything gluten free and even lasagna or ravioli with 24 hour notice. They even had GF bread for an appetizer.
Love this place! The staff/kitchen are knowledgeable. I emailed before hand and here’s what they said about their kitchen practices:
“All of our menu items can be modified to accommodate gluten free restrictions. Our gluten free pizzas are prepared in the same oven as our regular pizzas, but we use a specific tray for all gluten free pizzas to ensure the separation from all possibly contaminated surfaces inside the oven. All other dishes can be prepared in our separate prep kitchen. All fried options, when prepared gluten free, will be sauteed. Our kitchen staff is fully trained to adhere to all allergy standards. They routinely wash their hands & change their gloves to ensure there will be no cross contamination when preparing allergy sensitive meals. “
I recommend the mozzarella sticks and chicken parmigiana!
Wide selection of gluten free dishes including pasta. They will even prepare gluten free lasagna with one day notice. Gluten free bread too. I had the yummy pasta carbonara and chicken parmigiana. Delicious for celiacs and those that can consume gluten too!
