Disappointed. Food was good. Different ambience with dark bar feel. Our disappointment was the flexibility for dietary needs. My wife is gluten intolerant. But we felt good making a resevation visiting from out of state because 1) Ken's has a gf well renowned Italian restaurant and 2) wood fired grill proudly advertises they can easily modify meals. This seemed promising. However, when talking to the server he did not seem knowledgeable at all. His suggestions were A) get a salad without croutons, "I think"? really? and B) a supposed allergen list on a wall in the kitchen which he was reluctant to go look at, a like it was a distraction . The last thing a gf person wants is to have to eat a salad for a nice meal. If they really have ability to modify meals, I almost got the impression that the server was afraid to go ask the chef to do something different. Idk why he did not want to deal with our needs. Anyway that is why it was disappointing for us. Seems like a nice place.
