Had dinner with friends the other night Our waiter, Jacob, was very helpful. He explained that they have “gluten free friendly” items, but that the kitchen was small so there could be cross contamination. I have celiac so he offered to talk w the chef to be certain I would be safe. They came up with a delicious meal for me. Grilled salmon, delicious fresh green beans and sautéed seasonal veggies. This restaurant is right at the harbor’s edge with wonderful views of San Diego harbor. We will go there again!
Beautiful location, but options limited if you want a well rounded meal & you are celiac. If you are low carb and GF or gluten sensitive, you’ll love this place.
They list their French fries and kettle chips as GF, but they have a shared fryer, so it’s deceptive. Ask lots of questions when ordering! The staff was lovely and did whatever they could to accommodate.
I had a short rib melt “sandwich” with a “lettuce wrap” and no beer cheese drizzle, but the lettuce was two flimsy pieces of butter lettuce and I couldn’t pick it up… and without the delicious sounding cheese, it was very dry. The only sides they had that were celiac safe were green veggies, so my meal was allll green.
They have a lot of gluten free options or modified gluten free
