Server didn't really understand coeliac, had to explain about cross contamination and asked me to write it down on her pad for her. Message was relayed to the chef and printed really clearly on the bill. Once we communicated that we couldn't have shared pans or cooking oils we only found a few items on the menu I could have. I ended up having a prawn curry as a main with some rice. It was delicious, but felt like I was missing out on the full experience as all my mates had loads of interesting dishes. I felt perfectly fine after my meal so I believe there was no cross contamination. Good atmosphere and decor, would recommend if you're willing to just have a simple meal and accommodate friends.

The menu had clear labels and the staff brought an allergen matrix when I told them I was gluten free. I ordered pad thai, massaman curry, and rice and it was tasty and I did not get sick after.

This was our favorite of all the restaurants we tried in York. The menu is clearly labeled and there are many GF choices. The server was careful to bring me a printout of which things in our order were GF. Everything we had was delicious, but my favorites were the Pad Thai and the crispy pork belly with tamarind sauce (SO GOOD). I also liked the shrimp with apples and onions. We had two steak dishes that were pretty good. They don’t really have cocktails, but you can get liquor with mixers, beer, and wine. Service was friendly and the decor was really cute. I would definitely recommend this place!
