Gluten-free items are clearly marked on the menu at Kibou. Much of the sushi, sashimi, and tataki options can be gluten-free. Some sharing platters, including the yakitori and some large plates like poke bowls and teriyaki, can be made gluten-free too. I was given my own portion of tamari rather than standard soy sauce. Our server wasn't overly confident to speak about the processes in the kitchen, which worried me a bit. The manager spoke to me, and I felt a bit more reassured. The restaurant itself is pretty, and the food was good, but given the price and clearly marked menu, I was expecting the staff would be a little more knowledgeable about the importance of avoiding cross-contamination.

GF meals stated on the menu from starters, sushi to main meals. Plus gluten free soy sauce available. Staff really friendly and informed of allergies. Very beautiful place and meals. Well recommended. 😊
